May Unplugged!
Collage n Chat
Our first Unplugged! event will feature collage and conversation at Noelle's studio space in Logan Heights. Whether you're a seasoned collager or it's your first time since kindergarten, all levels are welcome! There is no cost, no dress code, no instructor, and no critique. Each participant will need all of their own supplies from the paper you'll be creating on, magazines or other resources to build your collage, scissors or X-ACTO knife, and glue. Consider labelling your stuff with your name to make it easier to keep track of. All participants must register to attend. BYOS - bring your own supplies. You're welcome to bring/order your own drinks and food.
Discussion prompt for this event: Collage involves connecting different images to create a new narrative. Looking back at your career path, what seemingly unrelated experiences or roles have unexpectedly connected to bring you where you are today? How can we help those earlier in their careers see potential connections?
